CMWC November Registration is OPEN (Certified Mental Wellness Coach)

Registration is OPEN NOW at this LINK

Our next CMWC course is open for registration (Nov 1) – and we will keep registration open for a week (until next Wednesday – Nov 8).

Our “in-person” CMWC costs $1,500 (2.5 days of on-site in-person training), but we keep the tuition for the self-paced ONLINE version as super-affordable as possible – so we can continue to train as many Certified Mental Wellness Coaches (CMWCs) as possible.

This November registration will be the last one at the $500 tuition – with future cohorts increasing to $600 – so if you want to head into 2024 as a Certified Mental Wellness Coach, now is a great time to get enrolled (and since it’s all self-paced, you can get in now and proceed at whatever pace is best for you).

WHY Should You Become a CMWC?

The longest-running study of well-being, the 80+ year-long “Harvard Longevity Study,” teaches us that a “Good Life” is one in which we are earning our own success – while serving others.

Becoming a CMWC means that you can build a personal mission and a profitable business around helping people feel their best with elevated mood, lower stress, sharper focus, higher energy, bolstered resilience, and superior sleep quality.

I honestly cannot think of a better way to earn your success while serving others than to become a CMWC.

WHAT Does the CMWC Course Include?

11 primary educational sessions spanning ~16 hours of video education on all the lifestyle factors that impact our Mental Wellness (positive and negative), such as… Microbiome, Gut-Brain-Axis, Heart-Brain-Axis, Nutrition, Sleep, Movement, Supplements, Mindset, Metabolism, Hormone Balance, Aging, and much more…

Digital copy of “Mental Fitness – Maximizing Mood, Motivation, & Mental Wellness by Optimizing the Brain-Body-Biome”

Digital copies of multiple “special reports” from the Global Wellness Institute (GWI) on the Mental Wellness Economy, Health Coaching, and Lifestyle/Wellness Trends

Downloadable PowerPoint slides for each lecture (so you can create your own digital library)

Active Discussion area – think of this as your exclusive “sounding board” to ask your questions and get answers to help you build your coaching business and educate your clients and customers about the best products and programs to help them reach their Mental Wellness goals.

Continuing Education Units (CEUs) – Our course is held in the Sports Medicine Dept at Marietta College – and has been used to satisfy requirements for CEUs/CECs (continuing education units/credits) from numerous professional boards, including chiropractic, naturopathic, nursing, fitness/nutrition, and many others, including full-approval by the National Academy for Sports Medicine (NASM) and the Athletics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA). *The application for each and every professional organization is different, so applying for CEU/CEC approval is the responsibility of each student.

In addition to the CMWC being closed-captioned and mobile-friendly, we have also added a Printable Certificate of Completion (to hang on your office wall) to complement the unique Digital Badge awarded to all Certified Mental Wellness Coaches (linkable to your email signature, professional profile on LinkedIN and other social media.

Weekly Webinars – this has quickly become one of the most popular features of the CMWC where we discuss new/emerging Science, Product recommendations, and Trouble shooting Q&As about different situations related to lifestyle modification of mental wellness and physical health issues. You can see some of the recorded webinar sessions at my YouTube channel – and they are all archived within our CMWC learning platform (Canvas at Marietta College).

A variety of expert interviews from experts such as Trish Barrus, PhD (10 Principles of Recovery – a positive psychology approach to addiction and life) and Emeran Mayer, MD, PhD (Gut-Brain-Immune Connection) – and many more to come…

    • Probably sometime toward the middle of 2024 – we will introduce an “advanced” course that we will use to “train the trainer” and certify existing coaches as “coach trainers” – so please stay tuned!

      • Hi Dr. Shawn!

I intend to sign up your CMWC (and catch it before it closes this weekend)… AND I am definitely interested in the advanced course and being a coach trainer.

Please let me know how to be part of that!

I’m a Functional Med certified health coach, and am super enthusiastic to have found you and your work, especially starting with the gut-brain, and ready to change lives for real right now 🙂

It was an absolute pleasure to have met Michael this past October in Toronto (would have loved days geeking out on the science and the miraculous human body!). I cannot wait to dive deeper… so grateful to have found CMWC with you!

Please let me know the BEST way to get involved and I can’t wait to engage.

Please feel free to contact me directly (I’ve also sent you a LinkedIn invite to connect, but didn’t give me an option to send a message.)

So looking forward to dive in!

        JiJi

  • I signed up but haven’t received anything in my email to confirm, including the receipt email. Should I continue to wait, or does it take a little while for things to show up?

  • HI there, I wish I had known that this course was work at your own pace, I would have registered for it. I am having shoulder replacement surgery soon , and have a lot on my plate right now. When will the next course start? Or is it too late to jump on now?
    thanks Janis
