Just a few days ago (Sept 25), the Wall Street Journal ran an interesting article about “middle-age sleep problems” – with a title “Combat the Sleep Problems That Hit in Middle Age – Aging messes with our sleep sooner than we might expect” – which you can read HERE
Just a few days before that (Sept 18), the University of California San Francisco (UCSF) issued a press release about a new study of Sleep/Depression in Teenagers – showing that teaching them about “sleep hygiene” improved their sleep quality and reduced various aspects of depression.
Just a few days ago (Sept 29), we launched a revolutionary new product – “Kids Calm” – the world’s first melatonin-free sugar-free gummy that helps improve sleep quality in kids, teens, and adults. You can see a quick scientific overview of Kids Calm and more about the case against melatonin and how you can naturally improve sleep quality – including with Amare’s original supplement (capsule) for improving sleep quality in adults – Sleep+ (which I’ve been using every night since we launched it years ago).
Since there is such a close link between sleep and depression in teenagers, I’m running the Chicago Marathon this weekend (Oct 8) to raise money for teen suicide prevention charity, Erika’s Lighthouse.
I am currently the leading fundraiser (thanks to many of you!!!).
If you can, I would REALLY appreciate your help supporting teen education about suicide prevention (as of this writing, we are only $841.75 away from our fundraising goal).
Thanks everyone – and please signup below if you want to receive email alerts for new articles?
