It’s an exciting week – the Amare Global International Convention in Salt Lake City, Utah!
In just a couple of days, we will launch some amazing new products, including the much-anticipated “Kids Calm” to help kids and teens (and adults) to relax, wind-down, and SLEEP!
Kids Calm is the world’s first sugar-free non-melatonin gummy to NATURALLY address the main biochemical pathways underlying optimal sleep quality – cortisol, serotonin, and melatonin (I’ll give all the details at the product launch on Friday).
I’m excited about this product launch – both professionally as a scientist and product developer – as well as personally as a father of two GenZ kids!
Sleep is one of the most important pillars underlying #MentalWellness – along with diet and exercise, they represent three legs of the stool that support our mood, focus, metabolism, and every aspect of our mental and physical performance. If your sleep is “off” – everything is off!
In addition to balancing your “sleep biochemistry” with a natural supplement like Kids Calm, there are lots of other simple steps that we can take to improve our sleep quality – things like keeping your bedroom cool and dark, getting some physical activity during the day, and having a “wind down routine” like reading a book before you fall asleep.
I have arranged a few super-fun “deals” in each of these areas (book, exercise, and cool bed) to help people celebrate the launch of Kids Calm – while helping others at the same time:
Make a donation to the amazing Erika’s Lighthouse charity to educate kids and teens about suicide prevention (I’m running the Chicago Marathon on October 8 to help raise funds).
Donate $25 and get a signed copy of my Mental Fitness book*
Donate $85 and get a Garmin Vivosmart 4 smartwatch* (this is cheaper than Amazon)
Donate $100 and get BOTH book and smartwatch*
*limited supplies – and can be picked up on-site in the R&D Area of the Convention Expo on Friday or Saturday (and get a big hug from me for your support of ELH)!
Last deal = At the Amare Wellness Center in Plymouth MA, we have all of our beds equipped with temperature-controlled mattress pads to promote optimal sleep quality – and Perfect Sleep Pad has offered an amazing deal. Using code “Amare15” you can save 15% – and another 15% will get donated to Erika’s Lighthouse. These are not inexpensive systems (~$1,000 depending on version), but they really make a huge difference in overall sleep quality – which I think is worth every penny.
It’s not an exaggeration to say that sleep problems are at epidemic levels – and synthetic melatonin is not the answer – so I very much feel that we are entering a new era this week, where we can help kids and teens to naturally balance their sleep biochemistry (with Kids Calm), and we can surround ourselves with other aspects of “sleep hygiene” such as exercise, reading, and temperature control to optimize our sleep quality as much as possible.
