July Mental Wellness Coach Certification?

Dr. Shawn Talbott (Ph.D., CNS, LDN, FACSM, FACN, FAIS) has gone from triathlon struggler to gut-brain guru! With a Ph.D. in Nutritional Biochemistry, he's on a mission to boost everyday human performance through the power of natural solutions and the gut-brain axis.

I’ve had a lot of questions about registration for the July Certified Mental Wellness Coach (CMWC) class – so I just wanted to let everyone know…

Since this week is the 4th of July, a lot of the offices at Marietta College will be closed, so rather than having new students register and be delayed to get their online log-in credentials, we will wait until July 5th (Wednesday) to post the new registration link.

Lots of cool new content (including weekly webinars) coming in this next offering – so please stay tuned!

Exercise physiologist (MS, UMass Amherst) and Nutritional Biochemist (PhD, Rutgers) who studies how lifestyle influences our biochemistry, psychology and behavior - which kind of makes me a "Psycho-Nutritionist"?!?!

  • Question for Dr. Scott Talbott. I need help answering a question from one of my customers. Is there a problem with taking two probiotic products, one Amare Metabiotics and another Zinzino? I have a customer that won’t try the Amare Metabiotics because she is already taking a probiotic. Suggestions on what to say to answer her concerns?

    • Hi Janeen – I depends on the benefits they are looking for?
The ZinoBiotic product is a blend of prebiotic fibers that supports the growth of good gut bacteria.
The Mentabiotics product is a ‘synbiotic’ blend of very specific ‘psychobiotic’ probiotic bacteria and prebiotic fibers and phytobiotic phytonutrients that supports the entire Gut-Brain-Axis and improves numerous mental wellness parameters.
