Welcome to Mental Health Awareness Month (May)!

We have (re)opened registration for the Certified Mental Wellness Coach (CMWC) program – after such a wonderful response at the end of March for our first online offering.

If you are registering from OUTSIDE THE USA, then please DO NOT include your address in the registration form…

We have also made the CMWC “mobile-friendly” – so it’s easier to take the lessons with you wherever you go…

We will keep this registration open for one week – until May 8.

Certified Mental Wellness Coach

The Certified Mental Wellness Coach (CMWC) is a streamlined, focused, intense course spanning 16 hours of instruction in the role of diet and lifestyle factors in balancing the Microbiome-Gut-Heart- Brain-Axis for improved Mental Wellness.

Why Becoming a CMWC is Important

At no time in human history have we ever been so “advanced” technologically and yet so miserable psychologically.

It’s no exaggeration to describe stress, depression, anxiety, and burnout as epidemics – literally the “Black Plague” of our modern times.

How you feel is not just in your head, it’s also in your gut, and your heart, and your immune system, and in many other places inside and outside the actual brain in your head.

About the Author

Exercise physiologist (MS, UMass Amherst) and Nutritional Biochemist (PhD, Rutgers) who studies how lifestyle influences our biochemistry, psychology and behavior - which kind of makes me a "Psycho-Nutritionist"?!?!

    • Hi Saori – after you register for the course, you will receive an access link directly from Marietta College (within about 2 business days) – and then the course is “self-paced” so you can progress thru each module as you see fit?
      Across the video lectures, reading, quizzes, and other materials, it ends up being around 20 hours – so some people finish it in a week and others take a few months, depending on their own personal schedule?

  • Hello, I purchased the training course, received via email a receipt. However, since registering I cannot open my brand-new Yahoo email, created specifically for this coaching course. But I understand the link to the course comes via email. Good thing there is no online scheduled LIVE class that I could end up missing as a result.

    Please tell me how to submit a different email address? I have another email account that I rarely use, so I will switch. How do I change my email add? Please inform me. Thanks. Can’t wait to get the link!!!

    • Hey Carla – your registration link should have come to you directly from Linda Roesch at Marietta College?
      But – if you can’t get into your email, that doesn’t really help???
      If you email Linda, she can change your email and send you a new access link.

    • Hi Angela – sorry you missed our last registration window – but don’t worry – we will (re)open registration again in June or July (depending on the status of a few key updates that we are planning) – so please stay tuned!

  • I am just coming across this certification and am bummed I missed out on the opportunity. Is there a way to still enroll? When will the next online course be offered?

    • Hey Carleen – thanks a lot for your interest in the course – we will (re)open registration on either June 1 or July 1 – depending on how quickly we can implement the next round of upgrades to the course (things like captioning and weekly live video chats) – so please stay tuned!
