May is Mental Health Awareness Month

Dr. Shawn Talbott (Ph.D., CNS, LDN, FACSM, FACN, FAIS) has gone from triathlon struggler to gut-brain guru! With a Ph.D. in Nutritional Biochemistry, he's on a mission to boost everyday human performance through the power of natural solutions and the gut-brain axis.

I’m writing this from Sydney Australia – where yesterday, we officially “opened” the Australia/New Zealand market for Amare Global (“The Mental Wellness Company”) – to a completely full and excited audience from all over (Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth, Auckland, Tasmania, Fiji, and many others).

It was a fitting time to open this market – which we think will become one of our most important regions – as tomorrow is the start of Mental Health Awareness Month.

There are SO many great resources available to support mental health these days – including those from Mental Health America (MHA) and the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) – both of which I have spoken to about how mental wellness can be improved by focusing on the Gut-Brain-Axis.

Tomorrow, we will reopen registration for the Certified Mental Wellness Coach (CMWC) program – so in the spirit of Mental Health Awareness Month, we can educate as many people as possible to help us spread the message of #MentalWellness and the prominent role that natural lifestyle interventions have in helping people feel and perform their best.
