Amare Science Deep Dives

I’ve done a series of “Deep Dives” on different areas of Mental Wellness and how Amare products can positively influence various aspects of microbiome balance and gut-brain-axis function to improve mood, tension, focus, energy, and related aspects of health.

Check them out HERE and let me know what you think?

    Hello Shawn!

Always amazing and informative getting to hear you. This series is fabulous! Thank you so much for all you do!

Can you offer any help for the complexities of anorexia? A young girl of eleven has been recently diagnosed about six months ago and is being treated by a team of medical professionals and seems in good hands. However, her family was told she has damaged her colon. I know everyone needs to care for their gut but with this crazy disease can Amare help with the mental issues associated with this disorder?

Can’t wait for Amare to come to England!

    In health, Patricia

  2. People with eating disorders (anorexia, bulimia, binge eating, etc) almost always have significant disruptions in their microbiome and throughout their gut-brain-axis. There is actually a bit of the chicken-egg scenario, where the microbiome disruptions may actually lead to some of the eating behaviors in the first place – leading to a very vicious cycle.

That said, one way to stop that cycle and turn it back in the other direction (where appetite returns, mood improves, gut-brain-axis function becomes more efficient) is to actively rebalance the microbiome with focused probiotic/prebiotic therapy – so I think the Fundamentals would be a great approach (though I don’t know how you would get it in England)?
